          « Le Zouave »



 Grape variety: 100 % Syrah old vines

 Soil: Clay-limestone terraces with rolled pebbles from the Rhone river in the commune of Pont de l’Isère. 70 to 100 years old vines. Northern Rhone Valley.

 Winemaking/Maturing: Fermentation in truncated conical thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, gentle punching of the cap and daily pumping over. Maturing in new barrels and barrels of several wines.

Taste: Rich and deep wine with a great fine aromatic complexity, red fruits, liquorice and spices notes. Harmonious undergrowth maturing. 

 Food pairing: Leg of lamb, game, dishes cooked in sauce, tagine
